At a time when MPs have allowed the European Union to relieve them of making 70% of our law, at a time when Regional Devolution and Parliaments in Scotland and Wales have taken away their work, we have a Con MP in South Staffs proposing a pay rise!

This is not just any old rise for ordinary mortals but a doubling of pay for MPs.

MPs, have squandered taxes on invading foreign lands, have allowed EU funds to be stolen by the Bulgarian Mafia, have mortgaged our future on an EU satellite system designed to rival the US in precision bombing. So do they deserve a pay rise?

 As a UKIP MEP sitting in Brussels trying to stop UK power being gifted away by spineless gonks at Westminster I believe that MPs fail to take their job seriously and fail to respect the will of the people

 I propose MPs be given 30% of their pay. This pay to be increased proportionately as the UK regains the 70% of power they gave to the EU. Perhaps that would concentrate minds?

 Our MPs have neglected the economy, pensions and welfare whilst funding the EU; this despite 55% of voters wanting to leave. So who thinks MPs are underpaid? Oh yes, I remember, the Con Member for South Staffs.

 I shall stand for UKIP at the General Election in South Staffs. The objective being to replace the pay rise proposer, abolish MEPs and do the more important job of protecting my country at Westminster from power erosion, an EU takeover and gonks.
